This community-wide event works with the local organization of Caritas of Austin, and since the race’s inception in 1990, it has raised nearly $2.5 Million. Caritas provides a service continuum for those experiencing hard times. They start out with a safety net that connects them to resources to achieve self-sufficiency. This year over 20,000 adults and children have been served by Caritas, making it Travis County’s largest source of non-governmental assistance for families less fortunate than most.
So come out and make an impact in our community by participating in the 25th Annual ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot. Afterall, it is on Thanksgiving Day and what an appropriate way to show your grace by giving to those in need!
