The ATX Television Festival is held in Austin every year. This year, it will be held at the Hilton 406 from June 9th through June 12th, 2016. While some people ask, “What is a Television Festival?” the answer it very clear. There are thousands of film and movie festivals that come in and out of the Austin area, but there is nothing quite like ATX. ATX focuses on the celebration of the medium: looking back at its history, where it is now, and where it is headed.
The weekend will consist of panels, screenings and events where attendees can hear fromactors, writers, directors, creators, showrunners, music supervisors, casting directors and studio executives involved in all stages of bringing their favorite series to the small screen.
To attend this entire weekend, there is a Weekend Badge that lets you gain access to all the Screenings and all Panels at all locations June 9th through the 12th. This badge level is good for all official ATX Festival locations. The price for this all-inclusive badge is set at $175.
The founders of ATX Television Festival, CaitlinMcFarlandand Emily Gipson, have spent the better part of a decade in a variety of areas of the entertainment industry — from film & television production to working within the network & studio systems; as well as being on the ground level of both the festival and filmmaker sides of Sundance, Tribeca andDohaTribeca. Combining their knowledge, along with a wide number of prominent industry professionals that make up the Advisory Board, they are introducing a one-of-a-kind festival experience.
