Guitars Under the Stars is coming back to Austin, Texas at the Mansion. It is an annual gala in support of ACG Education. With the support of the community, ACG Education has built an entirely new course area in over 50 Austin schools, reaching thousands of diverse kids on rigorous, daily, for-credit courses. Arts-engaged kids are known to do better in school on almost every indicator.
Coming to perform at this year’s Guitars Under the Stars is Ana Vidovic. Join in and celebrate the achievements that have been made possible as ACG Education moves forward and looks ahead to the bright future ahead for this.
Ana Vidovic comes from the small town of Karlovac near Zagreb, Croatia and started playing guitar at the tender age of 5. By age 7, she had given her first public performance. At age 11, she was performing internationally and by 13, she became the youngest student to attend the prestigious National Music Academy in Zagreb where she studied with Professor Istvan Romer. Ana’s reputation in Europe led to an invitation to study with Manuel Barrueco at the Peabody Conservatory where she graduated in 2005.
Major support for Guitars Under the Stars 2016 is provided by HEB, with additional support from Mercedes-Benz of Austin. This annual gala will reach over 3,000 Austin students each week through music.

"Michelle began working with us while we were still in RI, 12 months before we arrived in TX. Once we were here, she presented a raft of good properties we toured and researched, including a home in Georgetown we ended up buying. Michelle was unfailingly responsive, thorough, and helpful. She was even better during the p&s and closing phases, with wise counsel, grasp of subtleties that would have escaped us, and a strong protectiveness of our interests. She's a superb realtor, more a friend by the end, and we would recommend her highly to anyone searching for a home in central TX."
