About Chris

Christopher Johnson is a Broker with CORE Real Estate Team at eXp Realty. The skills he learned on how to run a business got him started in real estate in 2012 by purchasing rental homes and managing a portfolio to tenants who were mainly building credit or trying to save extra money to eventually purchase a home. He would rehab homes and update them so that prospective tenants could have a great property they could call home. Chris gained knowledge in home construction throughout the years of rehabbing, while getting involved in commercial construction as well. Shortly after tackling property management and obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, he decided to tackle residential real estate full time. He was recognized as Rookie of the Year at the end of his first year and by his second year was recognized as a top 5% agent for production in the entire state. Throughout his real estate experience, he has been able to gain a wealth of knowledge from mortgage lenders, contractors, and other real estate professionals. He fine tuned his skills by continuing his education in contract writing, negotiation, communication, and ultimately achieving his broker's license to put himself ahead of his competition to better serve his clients. He specializes with both home sellers and buyers from luxury properties to lake properties, and everything else in between to achieve one common goal, the best value they can get on their house. Whether you are buying or selling, the journey can be quite a roller coaster ride. Chris's goal is to make sure his clients receive the best service from start to finish, all while building a lasting relationship that goes beyond a home. When Chris is not immersed in his real estate business, he enjoys spending time with his dog, Kona, and his family. You can catch him supporting his beloved Texas Longhorns football team or out on the town trying new local restaurants.
